Anybody got any alaa how to narrow this down? It worked fine few times had to restart alsa but could play 5 sources simultaneously if I wanted and all worked prior to updates. Which precise IEC mixer element did you need to mute? I have not used Ubuntu on this computer for a while as hardware support was too bad to use it as a production environment.

Please let us know your results. Fixing all these problems will probably fix this bug as the GUI has changed so much from Ubuntu 8.
